You are so much more than simply a diagnosis.
What if the “symptoms” that are now troubling you were once the only thing that helped you to survive?
Getting acquainted.
As social creatures, we humans all need a little help sometimes. I am a firm believer that, given the chance and the right “tools,” humans are actually quite capable at healing. In fact, research shows that our nervous systems are inclined to naturally want to move towards healthy growth and change. Often a person’s symptoms that they experience is actually evidence that their nervous system is attempting to adapt and survive an environment that has failed them.
That being said, sometimes these old adaptations and strategies of survival that may have once kept you safe during difficult early life experiences, may no longer be serving you the same way they once did. This can contribute to feelings of anxiety, stress, low self esteem, and feeling “stuck” in unwanted patterns in life.
You will find that the work I do with individuals is overall non-pathologizing and highly collaborative. l am incredibly passionate about supporting people as they heal from difficult past experiences by helping them to authentically reconnect to their truth and vitality in the present. In order to do this successfully, I believe in the ongoing investment of continued education and training so that I can provide the most up-to-date approaches backed by neurobiology and relational science. To date, I have received specialized training in multiple trauma-informed modalities including NARM (Neuroaffective Relational Model), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that I integrate while working alongside clients in order to provide the best care possible.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I look forward to meeting you.

My interest in working with individuals suffering from relational and developmental traumas ignited while receiving my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. This provided me a roadmap for specialization and supporting my clients heal from childhood trauma. In addition to the advanced training received in NARM, IFS, and EMDR, I frequently draw on Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and mindfulness frameworks.
